Do you struggle with dry, frizzy curls? You're not alone! Curly hair is naturally drier and more prone to frizz than straight hair. What can you do to help? There's lots of techniques you can add to your curly hair routine to combat frizz and dryness, but one of the best to try is The Bowl Method. This viral curl hack is one you won't want to skip on wash day. It works by gently forcing water into your hair for the ultimate hydration.
Who knew incorporating a bowl in your curly hair routine could create hydrated, defined and frizz-free curls?!
The simplest and most effective method is using a bowl of water to rinse off your Conditioner. Re-dipping your hair into the bowl of Conditioner and water, multiple times helps create amazing curl clumps and forces more water into the hair for extra hydration.
First of all, wash your hair as usual with the All Curl Cleanser. Lather it up and then rinse.
Fill a large bowl with warm water.
Apply the All Curl Conditioner. Rake it through from root to tip.
Detangle and comb the All Curl Conditioner through the hair using a wide tooth comb.
Dip your curls into the bowl of water.
Scrunch out the excess water and let this fall back into the bowl.
Repeat the dip and scrunch process 2-3 more times to create smooth and hydrated curl clumps.
Apply the Hydrating Curl Creme.
Gently scrunch with a Curly Towel.
Apply the Enhancing Curl Gel or Mega Hold Curl Gel.
Diffuse or Air Dry and see amazing results.
Seems lengthy? The extra steps will make a huge difference, and will only add about 10 minutes to your usual curly hair routine. Putting a little extra effort into your curl routine on wash day means the results will last a lot longer!
